[Review] Melliesh Lip Gloss
My favorite lip gloss ever!!! Melliesh Lip Gloss in 03. It's the PERFECT nude color!
I use this one daily. It goes well with colorful eyemakeup when you don't want your lips to stand out too much. It's perfect for the Japanese pale lips trend when putting it on top of a lip concealer. For me, I dab on a tiny bit of the Candy Doll lip concealer and apply this on top. It creates the best pale nudy lips! A light beigy peachy color :D
The gloss also already contains concealer! So it actually lightens up your lips even if you don't apply lip concealer. But my lips are especially pigmented so I use lip concealer beforehand.
I just dab a bit of the gloss on my lip and pat it with my fingers! ^^ It's not sticky which I love. I hate sticky lip glosses. It also has no fragrance or stinging sensation. Love this. After I use up all my lip glosses, I'm only buying this from now on ^^

DIY Magnetic Palette Under $10!
HI! Well I bought a Unii Palette ($29) and kinda regretted it because it's so expensive!!! Whatever, I think it's still good for traveling though! I bought it basically just for the mirror. The mirror definitely will come in handy when traveling when I don't want to do my makeup in the bathroom (Which I don't like doing unless the hotel is 5 stars xD) I considered buying the Z-Palette or MAC Pro Palette, but remembering my last post to not buy anything, I decided to make my own DIY palette using cheap items I got at the dollar store and other stuff I already had at home!
I watched a lot of Youtube videos and read blogs on how to make one. Most people used DVD cases or CD cases. To be honest, I found that a bit... ghetto ^^ SO I decided not to use those things. I used an old air freshener container I found instead. HAHA i guess that's pretty ghetto too but this air freshener is really nice you'll see ;)
First I depotted most of my makeup. OMG. All Japanese cosmetics have a HOLE at the bottom. This makes depotting so simple! All I have to do is find that hole (it's usually under the label/sticker), then I poke it with my small scissors and voila! Out comes the pan!!! Easy! For my NYX Trio eyeshadows I nearly burned down my kitchen since I had to use candles. The smell of burning plastic was awful and I swear I don't want to go through that again. I love Japanese cosmetics that make depotting so so easy! Buying Japanese cosmetics from now on :)

Depotted Japanese makeup! Minus the small circular white one and bottom right. That's a b-day eyeshadow from Sephora and Boots Blush! :] |

Rock & Republic Eyeshadow Swatches
Hi! More R&R eyeshadow swatches!! I also just broke down and bought a Unii Palette as well as 3 palettes of NYX Trio eyeshadow palettes! Oh, and also three MAC brushes! I had a $200 Macy's gift card and decided to just splurge on some MAC brushes! Hehe. Will review/swatch them once they arrive!
These are actually my new favorite colors these days!
I love these Rock and Republic eyeshadows because they are so smooth, creamy, blendable! Just amazing~. I love how these aren't glittery. I will be looking out for sales so I can buy again! Also, the eyeshadows are HUGE!!! Really worth it! Anyway, one con of these is that you can't depot it... Maybe there's a way, but it involves ruining the container, which is so beautiful...>< I would want to depot these and put them in my new Unii Palette since I have so many now!
These are actually my new favorite colors these days!
This one is called Tempting! It's such a pretty shimmery greyish-lavender color!! Maybe my favorite color in this whole collection!! :) |

[Review] Violet Brushes
Here are my favorite and softest brushes in my collection! They are a 16-pc violet brush set from Ebay. I bought these from the seller, glamlabel. I highly recommend these! They are $14 in total for 16 brushes!! It's a great deal. They ship from Hong Kong, but I got them in around a week. Seller claims the brushes are made from pony and goat hair. To be honest, I have no idea what they're made of (hopefully nothing strange), but they're SUPER soft and don't shed! ^^
The larger brushes all come with brush covers. I use the angled brush blush every day to contour the side of my nose. It works perfectly!:) Brushes are super soft so they pick up soft powders well and apply blushes lightly~
Seriously these are the best! I can't believe they're only $14 :S I want to get other colors~ but I don't know if they're the same quality! But these violet ones are unbeatable ^_^
Comes in a fold-up case. Super convenient for travel :) |
[L-R] (3) Eyeshadow brushes, Angled Blush Brush, Small Blush brush, Large Powder Brush |
[L-R] Comb, Mascara, Smudge Brush, Angled Eyeliner, Eyeliner, Pointed, (2) Small Eyeshadow, Fan Brush, Medium Eyeshadow |
Look how softttt it is!! XD |
Just wanted to show a better picture, but this isn't true to the color. The color of the brushes are more of a magenta purple (actually just like my background lol) not blue-purple^^; |
