Crackle Nails

Hello! I'm back!! And bought a whole lot of nail polish including the Sally Hansen Crackle polishes in black, violet, and gold. Also bought Sally Hansen xtreme wear polishes in mint, lilac, and pastel yellow :) The nail polishes are quite affordable at Walmart and Target. Crackle polishes were only around $6. I also found out that each Target has different prices. I bought the xtreme polishes at one Target for $2.74 but another Target sold them for $2.04. Fortunately, the second Target adjusted the price for me:)

Made today's look using mint, lilac, and gold crackle polish.

First, I applied a base coat then painted half my nails mint and half lilac, alternating which sides I put the color on for each nail. Then applied a layer of top coat as I found out the crackle does not work well if I don't do this before applying it. Then applied gold crackle. Lastly, sealed all my nails using Sally Hansen mega shine top coat! I really like this look :) I like having dual colors under the crackle for a rainbowy effect:) I think it's cute for the summer!

[Review] Melliesh Lip Gloss

My favorite lip gloss ever!!! Melliesh Lip Gloss in 03. It's the PERFECT nude color!

I use this one daily. It goes well with colorful eyemakeup when you don't want your lips to stand out too much. It's perfect for the Japanese pale lips trend when putting it on top of a lip concealer. For me, I dab on a tiny bit of  the Candy Doll lip concealer and apply this on top. It creates the best pale nudy lips! A light beigy peachy color :D

The gloss also already contains concealer! So it actually lightens up your lips even if you don't apply lip concealer. But my lips are especially pigmented so I use lip concealer beforehand.

I just dab a bit of the gloss on my lip and pat it with my fingers! ^^ It's not sticky which I love. I hate sticky lip glosses. It also has no fragrance or stinging sensation. Love this. After I use up all my lip glosses, I'm only buying this from now on ^^

DIY Magnetic Palette Under $10!

HI! Well I bought a Unii Palette ($29) and kinda regretted it because it's so expensive!!! Whatever, I think it's still good for traveling though! I bought it basically just for the mirror. The mirror definitely will come in handy when traveling when I don't want to do my makeup in the bathroom (Which I don't like doing unless the hotel is 5 stars xD) I considered buying the Z-Palette or MAC Pro Palette, but remembering my last post to not buy anything, I decided to make my own DIY palette using cheap items I got at the dollar store and other stuff I already had at home!

I watched a lot of Youtube videos and read blogs on how to make one. Most people used DVD cases or CD cases. To be honest, I found that a bit... ghetto ^^ SO I decided not to use those things. I used an old air freshener container I found instead. HAHA i guess that's pretty ghetto too but this air freshener is really nice you'll see ;)

First I depotted most of my makeup. OMG. All Japanese cosmetics have a HOLE at the bottom. This makes depotting so simple! All I have to do is find that hole (it's usually under the label/sticker), then I poke it with my small scissors and voila! Out comes the pan!!! Easy! For my NYX Trio eyeshadows I nearly burned down my kitchen since I had to use candles. The smell of burning plastic was awful and I swear I don't want to go through that again. I love Japanese cosmetics that make depotting so so easy! Buying Japanese cosmetics from now on :)

Depotted Japanese makeup! Minus the small circular white one and bottom right. That's a b-day eyeshadow from Sephora and Boots Blush! :]

Rock & Republic Eyeshadow Swatches

Hi! More R&R eyeshadow swatches!! I also just broke down and bought a Unii Palette as well as 3 palettes of NYX Trio eyeshadow palettes! Oh, and also three MAC brushes! I had a $200 Macy's gift card and decided to just splurge on some MAC brushes! Hehe. Will review/swatch them once they arrive!

These are actually my new favorite colors these days!

This one is called Tempting!
It's such a pretty shimmery greyish-lavender color!! Maybe my favorite color in this whole collection!! :)
This is Nailed!
A brilliant shimmery gunmetal color~ Reflects colorful particles under the light. It isn't glittery and doesn't contain big particles of shimmer. I love this! :) When paired with Tempting, it creates a glamorous smokey eye look ^^
Top: Nailed
Bottom: Tempting
I love these Rock and Republic eyeshadows because they are so smooth, creamy, blendable! Just amazing~. I love how these aren't glittery. I will be looking out for sales so I can buy again! Also, the eyeshadows are HUGE!!! Really worth it! Anyway, one con of these is that you can't depot it... Maybe there's a way, but it involves ruining the container, which is so beautiful...>< I would want to depot these and put them in my new Unii Palette since I have so many now!

Sasa Haul!!!

Woohoo my package from Sasa finally came. I was so excited to get my products<3
Skin Food Black Sugar Cleansing Oil
Skin Food Peach Sake Emulsion
I actually haven't tried these yet, still finishing up my Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil and using up some other moisturizers I have.... I love the packaging though

Shu Uemura Depsea Water in rose
I liked my lavender one, so I got a full size one in rose~ I use this to wet my brushes so my BB cream/foundation doesn't get all cakey :)
Cyber Colors Eyeshadow in Slate Blue
They ripped me off on this one! It expires in three months >( But it was only $1.50 or something..

Meishoku Organic Natural Mild Lotion (Moist Type)
This is great for my sensitive skin! (It says it contains no parabens, alcohol, fragrance, colorings)
I put it in a small spray bottle and mist my face with it~ It does have a small though, but it's all natural. Smells like rosemary, which I don't really like, but it's pretty mild
They gave me free red(pink) envelopes ^^ So cute!
Majolica Majorca Lash Expander!
This is the #1 Mascara on the Japanese cosme rankings!
It really is the best mascara I ever used. Lengthens my eyelashes since it contains tiny fibres. Also doesn't clump. Each lash is separated due to the comb on the mascara wand. Brilliant :) Will repurchase this again and again! Until they make something better :p
Yanagiya Prexceed Hair Cream
Essential Damage-Care Nuance Airy Hair Treatment
The first contains horse oil which is super good for your hair! Makes it shiny, moisturized, and soft.
Second one is pretty good too. Really lightweight. I will use these every day on my hair which is kinda damaged from digital perming.. and I have split ends :(
Ok that's it!!!

[Review] Violet Brushes

Here are my favorite and softest brushes in my collection! They are a 16-pc violet brush set from Ebay. I bought these from the seller, glamlabel. I highly recommend these! They are $14 in total for 16 brushes!! It's a great deal. They ship from Hong Kong, but I got them in around a week. Seller claims the brushes are made from pony and goat hair. To be honest, I have no idea what they're made of (hopefully nothing strange), but they're SUPER soft and don't shed! ^^

Comes in a fold-up case. Super convenient for travel :)
[L-R] (3) Eyeshadow brushes, Angled Blush Brush, Small Blush brush, Large Powder Brush
The larger brushes all come with brush covers. I use the angled brush blush every day to contour the side of my nose. It works perfectly!:) Brushes are super soft so they pick up soft powders well and apply blushes lightly~

[L-R] Comb, Mascara, Smudge Brush, Angled Eyeliner, Eyeliner, Pointed, (2) Small Eyeshadow, Fan Brush, Medium Eyeshadow
Look how softttt it is!! XD
Just wanted to show a better picture, but this isn't true to the color. The color of the brushes are more of a magenta purple (actually just like my background lol) not blue-purple^^;
Seriously these are the best! I can't believe they're only $14 :S I want to get other colors~ but I don't know if they're the same quality! But these violet ones are unbeatable ^_^

[Review] Peach John Room Fragrance & Farm Tomita Lavender Hand Cream

Helllooo, first of all, I want to say that I've changed the look of my blog!! ^^ Hope you like it! I love purple ♥ I tried to go for a glamorous/elegant theme.. >< Now I'm going to review two products today! First is Peach John Love & Peach Room Fragrance!<3

★★★★★ (5/5 Stars!)
Love & Peach Peach Room Fragrance in Sweet Peach Flavor! I bought this at the Peach John Store in Hong Kong! This was around HK$100. I bought it because this is what they use to make the store smell so
nice! I LOVE the smell of the Peach John Store LOL! Anyway, this stuff is a liquid spray and it is super strong. I only need one spray to make my whole room smell super yummy ^^ The scent is a peachy, rosy sent.. I understand it may be too much for some, but if you use one spray it should be all good :) I spray it on my pillows, and the scent lasts for hours. ^^ Will repurchase since I'm in love with this scent!

Farm Tomita Hand Cream
★★★☆☆
This is Farm Tomita Lavender hand cream my friend bought me from Hokkaido~ The lavender scent is amazing, but I am not crazy about the texture of the hand cream. It makes my hands super sticky and gross.. >< I think my Neutrogena lavender scented moisturizer is much better.. This hand cream is pretty expensive too; I think it's about 900 Yen. Will not get this one again! But I'm interested in their lavender soap! ^^

Shu Uemura Haul!!

First of all, Happy Chinese New Year!! ^^

So, Yayy Shu Uemura haul! I'm so sad all the Shu Uemura counters closed in the US >< But at least I can still buy it online and whenever I go to Hong Kong! :)

So what did I get...?
Eyelash Curler
Glow On Blush in M44
Glow On Blush in M55
Free Sample of Depsea Water (Lavender)
Free Sample of Cleansing Oil

Really like this Depsea Water! Not crazy about the lavender scent but I got a full-sized bottle in Rose! :) Don't really know what's the point of this water but it leaves a cool, refreshing feeling on my face so I spray it on before putting on moisturizer to retain moisture!
★★★☆☆
Really nice blushes!! Pigmented, finely powdered, and not chalky at all! This is the color M55, it's a orange color, but not as dark as the picture. It's more of a light-reddish orange! I'm wearing it right now! ^^

I need to stop!!!

OMG, I really need to stop buying so much makeup, brushes, etc. I don't even use it a lot, it's more like I'm addicted and just can't stop. :( I bought 6 Rock & Republic eyeshadows and 1 blush (I fell into the trap.....) as well as 4 eye brushes from E.L.F. and 3 from Coastal Scents. WHAT's wrong with me? I'll post a more in-depth summary of the Rock & Republic products later (to be honest I think they're overhyped), but I'll write a few sentences about the brushes.

[Review] Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Body Moisturizer

Haha, I'm going to talk about my current favorite lotion ;D Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula relaxing body moisturizer in the calming scent (purple bottle). I bought this in Hong Kong for around US$4 for 450mL(I had a HK$50 off coupon so it's around US$10). It's kind of pricy for a lotion I guess?

My favorite blushes ever and my HK haul!! ♥

Hi! Let me introduce you to my favorite blushes ever!! ♥ They are the Jill Stuart Blush Blossom blushes that are immensely popular in Asia!! Since I was in HK, I couldn't refrain from buying two!;) They were I believe HK$340 each (around US$44). Quite steep for a blush, but it's completely worth it if you ask me since I can't get them in the US. I just love these!!
Cute packaging!
I bought these in two colors: 01 Romantic Sweet Pea (a pale shimmery baby pink) and 02 Sweet Mum (a orangey-peachy pink with gold shimmers). I really like both colors! But I usually wear 01 since I find it less shimmery for a everyday look ♥

First post♥

Helllooo friends!♥

Cheers to my brand-new blog where I will be sharing the many loves of my life! Here I am looking forward to blogging about yummy food, cosmetics (I have many crazy hauls and shopping sprees^^), things I love, and basically whatever I wanna talk about! Hehehehe...♪

I'm so excited! I hope to post every day! ;)
